Well, my "Birth of a Nation" series is finally finished with the addition of "We the People"!  It was a fun piece to stitch.  I started with the words and they went by really quickly, but I ran into a little snag while stitching the curtain.  So my piece of advice for any of you who want to stitch this is : when you finish the words, start on one side of the picture at the bottom and work your way across. Don't do one side, then the other and try to meet in the middle (I learned that the hard way, lol).

A note on the "Birth of a Nation" series.  In case you want to get all of your fabric at once, the first four pieces will all be done on the same linen and will be the same size and shape. A 26 x 36 piece cut into 13 x 18 inch quarters will be enough for all four if done on 36 or 40 count linen.
