I designed the "Lillia Mueller Sampler" for my 10 year old daughter to stitch.  This was her first time working on linen and it was hard for her at first, but she eventually got the hang of it.  I have to say, she had a LOT of help from me along the way, but she did very well. You can do yours as a "reproduction" of Lillia's, or use the letters from the sampler to do your own name and age.

This piece was stitched on 36 count Vintage Examplar linen by Lakeside Linens with one strand of Gentle Arts Onyx floss over two threads of linen. 

The finished size on 36 count linen is 8 1/4 x 15 inches.
